It measures the alignment of the initiative with existing policy frameworks in the country. In addition, the scalability of the initiative to other realities and geographies is valued.
PPCDAm is Brazil’s main environmental public policy for the Amazon. The project aligns with its “Land Use Planning and Environmental Regularization” axis by restoring degraded areas, promoting agroforestry systems, and generating sustainable economic alternatives for smallholder farmers. This alignment helped secure its technical eligibility with the Amazon Fund.
The project contributes to PRONAF’s objectives by strengthening productive capacities, improving income, and facilitating market access for rural families. It also supports the recognition of women and youth in rural territories, which are core pillars of this policy.
This measures how well the objectives and goals set out in the initiative were fulfilled, as well as the extent to which the results achieved are attributable to the actions implemented by the initiative.
