Description
National policy guiding the transformation of Bolivia's forestry process through the integrated and sustainable management of forests. It seeks to improve the well-being of forest users, especially the poorest populations, increase the contribution of forests to economic development and distribute benefits more equitably while conserving environmental goods and services. It promotes community forest management, institutional strengthening and coordination, and the integration of forest management with land, innovation, watershed and forest-product transformation policies.
